Still Life: Due Nov 12,  4 images , variations on a theme.

In this time of isolation and being confined to your home, you are to create a series of still lifes, using simple objects that you can find at home, and creating something that is perhaps beautiful, haunting and transform the objects in some way, like your first assignment. You could easily use your kitchen table as your makeshift "studio" or your living room or bedroom. You will need either artificial light from a reading lamp or the best lighting is window light (Edward Weston, see below).
You can use your smart phones for the this assignment; you might want to go close up for this.
Hand in 4 images, be careful of your background, maybe use a wall as backdrop. Use colour or black and white for your pictures, and pay particular attention to light.
Also note that these are guidelines, you could make images that don't conform to the "classical" model of what is a still life.

Edward Weston was a photographer that produced these images in the 1920's.
All are using natural light, a tripod and using the close-up feature on the camera.
