Part 1
Using the shutter on your camera experiment with motion, both blurred and stop motion. Make at least 10-15 images using the concept of and motion and place at least 5 good examples on your blog. The key is experimentation, the act of discovery.
Part2
Self Portraits
This assignment continues our interest in capturing motion. In this project, you are to make a series of self-portraits using some of the techniques we discussed in class and demonstrated in the studio. Using your camera on a tripod or table, try to create scenes into which you insert your image. Lets go beyond the usual FB selfie and avoid simply holding the camera and taking your picture. Place up to 10 images on your blog with a simple self-assessment of your ideas and technique.Research: Find at least one photographer that has made a series of self-portraits (someone other than the ones discussed in class) and do the following:Discuss the images and their approach to self-portraiture.Include at least 2 of their images .Discuss any techniques used.Place all this research on your blog.
